Pastor Sam Stump

Pastor Sam Stump born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. Pastor Sam
has been in Church all his life and received the gift of salvation at
age 16. Pastor Sam immediately begin serving God and singing solos in
church. At the age of 19 he begins traveling around the Lynchburg and
surrounding area singing in a quartet in churches and nursing homes for 7
years. He then became more involved in church by teaching VBS, AWANAS,
adult Sunday school class, leading praise and worship and preaching for 17 years.

In 2014 Sam was ordained as a Pastor. God then opened
the door for Pastor Sam to be the full time Pastor at Norwood Baptist Church in 2019.

An effective communicator of God’s Word, Pastor
Sam is known for his practical and dynamic teaching style which helps
people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives.

Pastor Sam and his wife Lynn have been happily married since 1990. They are
also the proud parents of two adult children Trey and Emily Stump.
Grandparents to Bella and Ashlynn.
